Purple also offers the live room for pre-production work, showcases, video or photo shoots, DIY demo recording or just a good rehearsal. Prices start from £15 per hour, depending on requirements. Additional PA and monitoring can be provided as required. Clients include; Nightmares on Wax, 10000 things, The Cribs, Stateless, Pigeon Detectives, Four Day Hombre, Dead Pets.

The room is over 40sq metres in size. It is acoustically engineered to an extremely high specification. The floor is partially a custom designed floating wooden structure overlaid with floorboards, which gives the room a large and warm sound.

There are a number of acoustic screens and blocks to arrange and separate equipment. The control room is available for use as a viewing gallery if required. There is also silent air conditioning throughout the complex.
