Pigeon Detectives, The Editors, Hard-fi, The Slam Dunk festival [feat. Fall Out Boy] and Snow Patrol. Purple designed and installed the full system including a P2SB bass line array to control the audience coverage and reduce spill to the immediate area. Using XTA wireless system management the line array was integrated with the flown ground stacked and infill systems. Purple also provided systems engineers, FOH and monitor engineers and stage technicians for the events, as well as sourcing additional equipment to meet the touring engineers specifications. |

A three day event including bands, poetry, graffiti art, comedy night, Jazz Sunday, beer festival, hymn singing, music workshops and art displays. PURPLE designed and supplied the main stage PA system, FOH and MON engineers and crew for the event. We used an end-fired bass line array to produce a tight polar response and avoid spill to the surrounding residential area. We also provided a noise consultancy and monitoring service to help comply with the terms of the event license. |

'One Glorious Day' - Embrace A wonderful two day homecoming concert for the Leeds based band. PURPLE provided an audio consultancy service to Leeds City Council in the run up to the event. We also monitored the SPL levels during the event and liased between the Council and the technicians involved. |

An independant 2 day music festival set on Ilkley Moor. All day music from a wide variety of bands and DJs alike. PURPLE designed and supplied two 15KW PA systems plus onstage monitors for the main two tents, FOH and MON engineers and crew for the two day event. We used bass line array technology to minimise low frequency noise reaching nearby residents. |

The Cornshed The annual two day event that sees a cornshed converted into a concert venue, in order to raise money for the nominated charity of the year. This year raised well over £6,000 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. PURPLE were delighted to give our services and supplied the PA and monitor systems and engineered the events. |
'Wath Folk Festival' - Montgomery Hall, Wath-upon-Dearne A festival celebrating folk music and traditional arts. PURPLE designed and supplied the PA & monitor system, FOH and MON engineers and crew for the events. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of alternative acoustic instruments and we feel this often contributes a great deal to the final production values of the event. |

'Leeds West Indian Carnival Queens' Show. The event is held in an extremely large marquee and is set
out as a fashion show. We used the P2y loudspeakers as a flown
infill to the main PA system, which was concealed behind scrims.
This involved the set-up of multiple delays and feeds to auxilliary
systems, and was very sucessful in obtaining a clear and detailed
sound over the whole of the audience and judging area. |

A series of events around Leeds providing family activities during the summer holidays. PURPLE designed and supplied the PA system and crew for the event. The system provided announcements, backing music for artists and reproduction of instruments. |

The Leeds Rhinos Civic Reception, sponsored by Radio Aire, Millenium Square, Leeds. The Leeds Rhinos Team celebrated winning the Super League
with the Lord Mayor, Radio Aire and 15,000 fans in Millenium
Square. Purple provided a 20KW PA for the event. |
Remembrance Sunday - The Cenotaph, Victoria Gardens, Leeds City Centre. A civic service of remembrance was held with prayers, laying
of wreaths and singing of the national anthem to remember those
soldiers PURPLE designed and a sound system to relay the speeches over
a large area of the city centre that was shut off for the ceremony. |

'Bright Young Things' An annual series of concerts around the city centre organized by the Council promoting young musical talent in Leeds. PURPLE designed and supplied the PA systems, FOH and MON engineers and crew for the events. We also contribute to an experts panel to give advice on all aspects of the industry to the participants. |
'Taranta' - CCM - @ Millenium Square, LEEDS. The Finale of the 'Rhythms of the City' festival of arts and culture. Rhythms is one of the largest street performance festivals in Europe, with over 100 performances, crammed into 14-days. PURPLE designed and installed all the sound systems for the festival events on Millenium Square. More Images |

'Festival of Light and Water' - Walk The Plank - @ The Stone Jetty, Morecambe Bay. A weekend of fireworks and music which attracted an audience of 20,000. PURPLE designed and installed a 20K system, providing the music for a spectacular two nights of fireworks. More Images |

held in the Warehouse, Leeds.

Leeds Rhinos, Headingley Stadium PURPLE designed and supplied a distributed PA system for the cup match, providing music and speech for the entire stadium. Also included were a portable speaker system for for pre-match and interval entainment. |

'One Night Only' - Jonny Berliner - @ The Great Hall, LEEDS University. The production included a full band, 30 piece orchestra and 40 piece choir.
